Whether they're real or not, the best alien designs in horror cinema are always the ones that stick with practical effects. Nothing beats a truly grotesque puppet or prosthetic for genuine dread.

Practical effects are always superior for cosmic horror, adds a tangible dread. The creature design in Alien set the standard, all thanks to Giger and practical craftsmanship.

Well, it depends on what you are calling a UFO.

UFO just to mean "Unidentified flying object" is real because it can be anything that hasn't been identified yet, from a rogue drone to a confused raven.

The newer term is Unidentified Anomalous phenomena. I guess The Government got tired of people laughing at UFO.

Now if alien life exists and they are observing us, that's a possibility. I won't say yes or no. The universe is too vast to be certain of anything. I suspect yes but I honestly don't know.
